Christmas around the corner

Having worked hard to get my reputation on track with friends and family, I am now trying to do the official thing and get the whole world involved. This blog and website being part of it. I have been busy drawing, designing and studying to make my kitchen a happy place for any consumer that may want to endorse me. I say i'm about halfway there now. What you have to remember is that my cakes still have to be baked amongst a recent house move and 2 other jobs that aren't particularly close to home, so slowly PipCAKES will come together.

Aside from all the boring paperwork stuff, I am still doing some great bakes. I went off to CI Birmingham back in November and put my 'Golden Compass' entry into the competition. There's always an amazing standard at the show and I admire the efforts all my fellow bakers put into their work, definately worth visiting! A week previous I had a gorgeous Autumnal wedding to bake for. Their choice of decoration with oak leaves, acorns and pumpkins went down very well with the guests and gave me lots of prep for the night before too!

Christmas is now around the corner and I have a few orders to ship out, but nothing too busy so hopefully PipCAKES will get a little rest before 2015 and start fresh in January with some exciting stuff in the pipeline.
